At its Monday, May 2, 2022 Board of Education meeting, the Morenci Areas Schools' Board of Education accepted the resignation of 1st grade teacher Megan Louise-Dishaw Thompson, a twelve-year veteran.
The board also accepted the resignation of Ashley Joughin as 7th grade volleyball coach.
Also at the board meeting, the board accepted the resignation of kindergarten teacher Melannie Vincent. Ms. Vincent has accepted a teacher position in Northern Michigan.
