We work hard at MES to teach our students how to do three things when it comes to mean behaviors and bullies:
1. Recognize the behavior
2. Refuse the behavior
3. Report to a trusted adult
We also teach them the difference between a mean behavior and a bully because not every mean behavior is a bully situation. See the infographic below for the language we use at school.
