From specials at local restaurants to theme parties at downtown venues, there is something for everyone to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in downtown Morenci! Check out the flyers below for more details. The Morenci Downtown Development Authority (DDA), with the help of generous sponsors, is also hosting a free Sunday matinee at The Rex Theatre on March 15 at 3 p.m., featuring Zootopia 2. Admission and popcorn are free, making it a perfect family-friendly outing.
Also returning this year is the Lucky Charm Scavenger Hunt, a fun outdoor event for the whole family brought to you by the DDA. A leprechaun will visit Morenci closer to St. Patrick's Day, planting lucky charms in downtown business windows and leaving clues to help you find them. Scavenger Hunt forms will be available at City Hall, downtown businesses, and online here, starting Thursday, March 12. Follow the Leprechaun’s clues, record what he left behind and where, and turn in your completed form at City Hall or email it to heather.sarnac@cityofmorenci.org . Enter by Sunday, March 22 for your chance to win a Downtown Morenci prize basket!
