At the April 28 meeting of the Morenci Area Schools Board of Education, Ronald and Kenneth Bernath were formally recognized for their remarkable dedication to the district's athletic programs. Ronald and Kenneth Bernath were honored with a proclamation for their continued support of Morenci Bulldogs athletics. This commitment has inspired students, coaches, and the broader community alike.
Though neither currently has children enrolled in the district, Ronald and Kenneth have become fixtures at home and away games, often traveling great distances to cheer on student-athletes. Their dedication and Bulldog pride have genuinely impacted students and families.
The proclamation commended Ronald and Kenneth for setting "an inspiring example of what it means to be a true champion of youth, dedication, and community spirit." It further noted that their visible and consistent support reminds us that a school district's success is measured not only by academics and athletics but also by the strength and unity of its supporters.
The Board officially recognized Ronald and Kenneth Bernath as symbols of Bulldog pride and expressed deep gratitude for their enduring enthusiasm and love for the Morenci community.
As athletes and families continue to see these two cheering from the bleachers, they will know they have some of Morenci's most dedicated fans.
