Morenci Area Schools participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) as part of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. The GREAT NEWS is that all students enrolled at Morenci can receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at no cost to your household each day, if our district qualifies through strong participation in the Education Benefit Form.
We need every household to complete the Education Benefit Form. This form is essential in determining the amount of funding our school receives from a variety of State and Federal supplemental programs such as Title I A, At-Risk (31a), Title II A, E-Rate, and more.
These programs provide critical resources and services for our students, including:
● Instructional supports (staff, supplies, and materials)
● Non-instructional services (counseling, social work, health services, etc.)
● Professional learning for staff
● Parent and community engagement activities and supplies
● Technology
Please complete and submit the Education Benefit Form as soon as possible so that our school can maximize available funding and continue to meet the needs of our students. All information submitted is kept confidential. Without your support, we may not be able to continue offering free breakfast and lunch for all students after October 1, 2025.
