Morenci Area Schools is excited to invite students, families, alumni, and community members to the annual Meet the Teams event on Wednesday, August 19, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Morenci High School football field.
Hosted by the Morenci Area Schools Athletic Department, Meet the Teams celebrates the dedication, hard work, and accomplishments of Bulldog student-athletes, coaches, and athletic programs as they prepare for the 2026-2027 school year.
The evening will feature introductions of Morenci's fall athletic teams and coaching staff, providing the community with an opportunity to recognize the students who proudly represent the Bulldogs in competition. Families, alumni, and fans are encouraged to come out, show their Bulldog pride, and help send our teams into the new season with enthusiastic community support.

As the fall season approaches, student-athletes and families are reminded that a current MHSAA sports physical is required before participating in any tryout or practice. Physicals must be completed on the official MHSAA physical form and dated after April 15, 2026. Forms are available from coaches, outside the Morenci Area Schools Board Office, and in the files section of SportsYou.
Fall sports begin soon, with varsity teams starting August 10, middle school football beginning August 17, and middle school volleyball and cross country beginning August 24.
Whether you're a current family, alumni, or community supporter, everyone is invited to join us as we kick off another exciting year of Morenci Bulldog athletics. We look forward to seeing the stands filled with maroon and white as we celebrate our student-athletes and begin another outstanding season.
