Morenci Area Schools is excited to welcome students and families back for the 2026-2027 school year! As we prepare for another year of learning, growth, and Bulldog pride, we encourage all families to complete their Annual Registration Update through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Parents and guardians are asked to review and update emergency contacts, medical information, transportation details, and other important student records, as well as complete all required online forms by August 7, 2026. Completing this process ensures the district has accurate information, allows us to finalize transportation and other back-to-school preparations, and helps us provide the best possible start to the school year.

Families who complete all required online registration paperwork by August 7 will receive their elementary student's classroom teacher assignment via email beginning August 12. Middle and high school students (grades 6-12) will receive their class schedules and locker assignments during the Open House on Wednesday, August 19.

To help students and families prepare for the first day of school, Morenci Area Schools will host its annual Open House on Wednesday, August 19.

The Elementary Open House (GSRP-5th Grade) will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m., giving students and their families the opportunity to meet their teachers, visit their classrooms, and become familiar with their learning environment before the first day of school.

The Middle School/High School Open House (Grades 6-12) will take place from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Students can pick up their class schedules, locate their lockers, walk through their classrooms, and meet their teachers. Incoming freshmen and their families are invited to attend a Freshman Orientation at 5:00 p.m. in the Middle School Library to learn more about expectations and opportunities for the upcoming school year. Students enrolled in LISD Tech Center programs and their families are encouraged to attend the Tech Center Student Orientation at 5:30 p.m., also in the Middle School Library, to receive important information before classes begin.

The excitement continues on Wednesday, August 19, with the Annual Meet the Teams event, hosted by the Morenci Area Schools Athletic Department, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the football field. Join us as we introduce our Bulldog student-athletes and coaches and celebrate the start of another exciting year of athletics.

While you're on campus that evening, be sure to stop by Sips & Sweets Lemonade, which will be located in the Middle School/High School parking lot from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Fresh flavored lemonade will be available for purchase, making it the perfect way to enjoy an evening with the Morenci school community.
