Tomorrow, May 13th, at 1:30pm Morenci Area Schools will be performing a district-wide ALICE drill. Students will have the process explained to them ahead of time by our staff and they will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have. Law enforcement will be present to monitor the drill. More information about what an ALICE drill is, what our staff will go over with students, and how you can talk about this drill at home can be found on the district webpage under DISTRICT INFORMATION.
Parents of Morenci Band members, if you have not yet received the information sheets and permission form for the Cedar Point trip, please ask your student for these tonight. The permission form must be turned in to the office or Mr. Murray by Friday, May 13th.

🚨Morenci Community Members-The Little League is looking for volunteers 13 years old or older to help in the concession stand. They are at risk of having the stand closed on game nights as they don't have any volunteers stepping up. Reach out to a couple friends and volunteer together as a friends night out. Don't forget the open community forum will be tonight at 5:00 p.m. in the middle school library. The purpose is to gather information from a wide variety of stakeholders on the qualities, characteristics, background and experiences desired for the next Superintendent.
