Mrs. Elliott and Mrs. Rohde's fourth grade classes enjoyed a visit with Doug Spade, his dog Major, and his friend Mike. After reading a story in class called Blind Ambition, our students had a lot of curiosity and smart questions about the blind community. Doug Spade was more than happy to share his experience with our students and answer all of their questions. On Saturday, the Morenci 4th graders were the 102.5 Talk Back VIP's of the week and were recognized on the radio.

Morenci Elementary is kicking off their annual Charleston Wrap Fundraiser. This fundraiser is all online and the items are shipped directly to your home. Money raised from the fundraiser helps to pay for assemblies, PBIS incentives and special student events.

The Morenci Athletic Boosters will be having a Chili Cookoff fundraiser from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday October 8th before the homecoming game.
