In an effort to provide students with every opportunity to graduate with their class, Morenci High School wants to make you aware of a summer credit recovery program. It is recommended that your student consider enrolling in our summer school program if they are behind in one or more credits. Students will be enrolled in one course at a time. If they complete a course they can opt to begin another course if there is adequate time to do so.
Summer school will be online learning provided through our Edmentum program. Work is completed online during the student's own time, with a weekly 2-hour window provided for exams to be taken in person. Students need to email Ms. McDowell when they would like to schedule a time. Final exams and all coursework must be completed/passed with a minimum of 60% to earn credit. Courses run for eight weeks, starting June 7, 2023 and running until August 1, 2023 at 11:00am. Students will only be allowed to register for one course at a time. No time extensions will be provided.
If you would like to enroll your student, please visit the Board Office Monday-Friday between 9am-2pm to make your course payment and submit your student's signed enrollment form.
