Way to go, first graders! ๐ง ๐
Our third graders learned about the evolution of castle architecture, starting with simple designs and progressing to more complex structures. To bring their learning to life, they explored printmaking by using sponges to recreate the stonework of their castles. This hands-on activity tied creativity with history, making their lessons both fun and memorable. Stay tuned for more from our budding architects!

๐๐ผ Our seniors in Mrs. Zuverโs Financial Literacy course are preparing for their futures! One of the key chapters in the Dave Ramsey Financial Literacy curriculum focused on career preparation, and Mrs. Zuver took it a step further. Students worked on creating professional rรฉsumรฉs, participated in mock interviews with peers, and even had the chance to interview with an administrator or counselor. This hands-on experience will help them gain valuable insight into the interview process and set them on the path to success in their future careers. ๐ #morencibulldogs
Mrs. Beemer's sixth-grade leadership class created special Veterans Day posters and presented them to Mr. Petry for display at the American Legion. Honoring those who served!

Our third graders had a blast wrapping up the third week of school! Visitors from the Lenawee ISD helped kick off our Outdoor Science and Literacy initiative with a fun "Next Time You See a Spiderweb" lesson. Students hunted for spiderwebs, heard a story from Mrs. Stiver, and made their own webs. They also tried peanut butter and jelly burritos from our "Marisol McDonald Doesn't Match" book study. Not everyone was a fan, but it was fun to try something new!
Our first graders had a blast playing Rock, Paper, Scissors during math! โโ๏ธ๐ชจ We tallied up the results to see which wins the most โ rock, paper, scissors, or a tie! So much fun while learning! #morencibulldogs ๐พ๐
Donโt let your child stay home unless they are truly sick. Consider that sometimes a stomach ache or headache is a sign of anxiety. Talk to teachers, school counselors, and other parents for advice on how to make your child feel comfortable and excited about learning.
We had a beautiful day for a walking field trip to Stair District Library! ๐ This special trip helps prepare our students for their upcoming Lansing adventure, teaching them important lessons like walking safely and respectfully around the Capitol grounds, learning the role of a docent, how to respond appropriately, and how to respect museum exhibits and artifacts.
We even had a chance to dive into some Constitution Day lessons!
Be sure to check out the goodies your child brought home from the library to support today's activities. For now, enjoy these pictures from our day! ๐ธ
While attendance is important, we also want to create a safe and healthy learning environment. We understand some absences may be required due to illness. To learn more, visit lisd.us/attendance.
