Morenci Area School is getting into the Holiday Spirit with Christmas Spirit dress up days starting Monday. GSRP, the elementary school, middle school and high school each have their own dress up days. Please see the pictures below for each buildings special spirit wear days.
Santa Shop for the MS students. On December 16 and 19th, the Sunshine Committee will offer our middle school students a Santa Shop. Various items have been donated and purchased for students to come through and select a gift (maybe 2) for someone in their family or friend group. The gift of giving. We welcome and appreciate any gift donations that community members might want to offer. Items can be dropped off in the office or brought to Mrs. Grondin's or Mrs. Zuver's rooms.
The 6-12th grade bands will be performing their winter concert for MS/HS students on Thursday, December 22nd at 7:55 a.m. in the HS gym. Students will report to their first hour class for attendance and then proceed to the gym. Parents are welcome to attend the performance. We will be taking donations for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign as students enter the gym. An evening performance will be held on January 9, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the HS gym.

The Morenci MS/HS band will perform their Winter Concert tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Come out and support the band program.

MHS Seniors took a tour of the Siena Heights College Campus.
The middle school students headed to Toledo to watch the Walley's hockey game. The kids were great, from start to finish and they made us very proud! And of course, they had a blast, especially those in the front row who could witness the hockey fights and do the historical "pound on the plexiglass" chants:)
Reminder: Tomorrow is a half day of school. Students will be dismissed at noon and will eat lunch before they leave.

The paraprofessional will support students as well as assist with library operations. Library experience preferred. Hourly wage $12.48.

Picture retakes Pictures retakes for all students are scheduled for Thursday, November 17th. Any students who need to have their picture taken for the first time or would like retakes should come prepared that morning to have their picture taken. If you are having retakes, please bring the original picture package with you. If you are having them taken for the first time, please go to www.hrimaging.com and order your package.
