Picture retakes Pictures retakes for all students are scheduled for Thursday, November 17th. Any students who need to have their picture taken for the first time or would like retakes should come prepared that morning to have their picture taken. If you are having retakes, please bring the original picture package with you. If you are having them taken for the first time, please go to www.hrimaging.com and order your package.

The Morenci girls' basketball team will be hosting a Lady Dawg Basketball Clinic for girls in 3rd-6th grade. Girls will work with our varsity basketball players to develop individual and team skills. The first practice is this coming Saturday, November 12th from 8-9:30 a.m. in the high school gym. Parents can drop kids off at the athletic trainer door and pick them up in the high school gym. You may pay at the door or turn into the school office by Friday.

The Morenci Chapter of the National Honor Society is hosting a Blood Mobile at Morenci High School in the gymnasium on Friday October 28th from 9:30 - 2:30. Students must be 16 years of age in order to donate and will need a parent/guardian signature. This is a community event, so please spread the word to help us increase our donations. Remember, WE WANT YOUR BLOOD!

If you are unable to donate at this time, the NHS will be hosting two additional blood drives in January and April. NHS students provide numerous volunteer hours through the blood drives, and as a result the American Red Cross sponsors scholarships for select senior NHS members. The more donations made, the greater their scholarship, so help our students, as well as our community.
