This collaborative event for kids of all ages is brought to you by Seneca Community Church, City of Morenci, Morenci Area Schools, and Kiwanis of Morenci. The deadline for filing a School Board Candidate petition is tomorrow, July 26, 2022, at 4 p.m. Petitions can be picked up at the Lenawee County Clerk's office at 113 W. Front St., Adrian, MI. The board has selected Mrs. Jennifer Ellis, principal at Clinton Elementary, and Dr. Sean Wightman, principal at Dowagiac Middle School for final interviews. Following the reception, a special board meeting will begin with Mrs. Ellis’ interview at 6:00 p.m. and Dr. Wightman’s interview at 7:30 p.m. Following the interviews, the Board will discuss and decide on the next superintendent of Morenci Areas Schools.
