The LISD TECH Center inducted the following students into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS); Clarissa Berger in Marketing & Entrepreneurship and Emilee Cox in Education Careers. NTHS recognizes students with outstanding achievement in their LISD TECH program and at their local district.
Criteria for membership in the LISD TECH Center Chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS)
LISD TECH Center requirements
- Maintain a 3.5 or better GPA at the LISD TECH Center
- No more than 3 absences per trimester
- No more than 3 tardies per trimester
- Active participation in a career-centered student organization (if available)
- In good standing with LISD TECH Center
- Recommendation from program instructor

Local district requirements
- Maintain a 3.25 or better cumulative GPA at your local district
- No more than 3 absences per trimester; OR No more than 5 absences per semester
- No more than 6 tardies per trimester or 9 per semester
- In good standing with local district
